"I sat in the back pew and watched the only woman I would ever love marry another man. Natalie wore white, of course, looking extra mock-me-forever gorgeous. There has always been both a fragility and quiet strength to her beauty, and up there, Natalie looked ethereal, almost otherworldly. She bit down on her lower lip. I flashed back to those lazy mornings when we would make love and then she'd throw on my blue dress shirt and we'd head downstairs. We would sit in the breakfast nook and read the paper and eventually she'd take out her pad and start sketching. As she drew me, she would bite down on her lip just like this."
Six Years by Harlan Coben

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Would you keep reading? This book has been sitting way too long on my stack. I am looking forward to reading this stand alone by Harlan Coben.

Nice!
One of the reasons I love Harlan Coben---he pulls you in with his style of writing. Isn't that paragraph so intriguing? I read this book earlier this year, worthwhile and recommended.

Nothing like unrequited love to rip out your heart and then shred it to pieces with paper cuts from pages turned! Definitely keep reading!

I haven't read Harlan Coben in ages...but that intro makes me want to read this one. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
I would read this just because Harlan Coben wrote it. I love his books.
Yes, I would keep reading. I've read this book and enjoyed it.
I read the first chapter or 2 a month ago and then it got put aside for some reason. sigh. I need to get back to it.
