Old El Paso

Dinnertime is a great time for catching up with your family, especially during the hustle and bustle of back-to-school season. Now that school is back in session, reward your family for their hard work and bring the dinner your family loves to the table with a fiesta - Old El Paso style!

If your family already loves tacos, why not put family taco night on the calendar at least once a month? With a variety of seasonings and other complementary products, Old El Paso offers everything you need for fun nights with the family.

To satisfy your Mexican style cravings, the Old El Paso® line up of products includes chilies, dinner kits, dips and sides, enchilada sauce, refried beans, seasoning mixes, shells, taco sauce and salsa. The Old El Paso taco seasoning mix selection includes flavors like Burrito, Cheesy Taco, Chili, Fajita, Taco, Mild Taco and even a seasoning with 40% less sodium.

Old El Paso, through My BlogSpark, sent me a packet of Old El Paso Taco Seasoning, a Cactus Chip & Dip Serving dish, a set of 3 Fiesta Chili Pepper serving dishes and a $10 gift card to purchase taco fixings.  Thank you!!!

Because my sons are college age and have crazy schedules, we don't have the luxury of always eating together.  I love having taco fixing stuff handy in order to fix them a quick, hot, satisfying meal that is delicious.  As you can see, we prefer soft shell tacos.

Visit Old El Paso for news and great tips, recipes and more.

Visit My BlogSpark to download a printable coupon for $0.60 off any two Old El Paso products today!

Old El Paso and My BlogSpark have graciously provided this giveaway to one reader. Please leave a comment and let me know if your family prefers hard shell or soft shell tacos or both!
I will randomly draw a winner Oct. 29th.

A Crunchy New Snack

The folks at My Blog Spark sent me a new snack item to try and review.

Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters comes in four varieties: Roasted Cashew, Nut Lovers, Roasted Almonds and Honey Roasted Peanut.

Each variety of nut clusters is about the size of a quarter containing granola and a touch of honey. If you like your snacks crunchy, these are definitely for you. I did not find them too hard for me as I am careful because of my teeth. I, personally would have liked them a bit softer, but not sure that is possible with nuts and granola. My husband and sons said they were the right texture for the snack.

My husband and I liked the Roasted Almond and Honey Roasted Peanut Culsters followed by the Nut Lovers and Roasted Cashew. My sons liked the Honey Roasted Peanut, followed by Roasted Almond, Nut Lovers and Roasted Cashews. They liked the bite size as it allowed them to snack and continue playing their X-Box.

Easy to snack on while reading too!

Thank-you to My Blog Spark and Nature Valley for these complimentary yummy snacks.
