Welcome to Bloggiesta... the blogging party led by our fearless mascot PEDRO (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize.) and created several years ago by Natasha from Maw Books Blog and is now hosted by Suey of It's All Bout Books and Danielle of There's A Book. The idea behind Bloggiesta is to keep Pedro happy by spending these next three days working on perfecting your blog and connecting with other bloggers doing the same thing.

My plans for the weekend are to:

Bloggiesta Update

This is the last day of Bloggiesta and I have accomplished a few of my goals and more!

My 2012 review links by title and author are up-to-date
My labels are up-to-date even though I plan to fine tune a few things
My reading challenges are up-to-date
My draft posts are cleaned up
I am getting the hang of the new Blogger interface and know it will get easier as I continue to use it

I have yet to update Goodreads and LibraryThing (another huge job).

It is Spring Break here this week so I hope to carve out some time to continue working on these jobs!

Bloggiesta - Wrap Up

Thank you to Natasha at Maw Books Blog for hosting this weekend's challenge.  Another BIG thank you to those who hosted mini-challenges (even the flashbacks)!  I am very pleased with what I was able to accomplish. 

I am up-to-date on my reviews.  I got a good start on organizing my reviews by authors and labeling the reviews with their genres.  I went through every post and made sure the were labeled as well as defining the labels.  I finished my review policy, but still deciding if I want to edit it some more.  The button is in place.

I thank all those that filled out my google form questionnaire!  I will draw later today for the Starbucks gift card. 

It was a lot of work but it feels great to get so much accomplished!  I even managed to read a book!

Bloggiesta Day 2 Update

Maw Books is hosting this weekend's Bloggiesta.

Friday I spend about six hours reorganizing my labels, looking through my posts for "lost" reviews to get them linked on my review page.  I have yet to add the label gadget to my blog.  I discovered that I did not have it after spending all that time reorganizing my labels! 

I created a google form questionnaire.

I added a copyright footer and registered my blog with Myfreecopyright.

I created a new signature button (see below) and a button for my review policy (in side bar) that I plan on writing today. 

Today and tomorrow I want to decide upon a way to organize my books read/reviews by author.  Have any ideas?

Jenn of Devourer of Books hosted a Google Form mini-challenge for the Bloggiesta.  My goal for this weekend is to organize my reviews by author and/or genre and to reorganize my labels.  Please fill out my google form questionnaire to help and enter to win a Starbucks Gift Card!

A opportunity to cross those nagging items off of your to-do list and improve your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing. Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Bloggiesta is scheduled for January 21st, 22nd, and 23rd.


I plan to work on organizing my reviews by Authors.  Not sure how I am going to do it yet, hopefully, I will get some good tips.  I also want to make sure my 2011 reading challenges are organized.  Not sure how much time I will be able to spend working on my blog as my sciatica is acting up and it does not allow me to sit for very long.
