Weekly Reading Wrap Up (SP/IMWAYR?)

A Royal Kiss and Tell by Julia London (audio)#2
Lady Caroline was difficult to like at the beginning.  She was annoyingly outspoken, which I usually like in a character.  Her need to be the center of attention was also a turn off.  But this author completely turned my feelings around for this character.  Prince Leo has been told his time in England is over and he needs to return home to resume his duties and marry for the good of his country. A plot is revealed to Leo and he does his best to figure out who and what is at the center before he leaves.  Their romance is slow and the banter is humorous. I enjoyed Justin Hill's narration of this 2nd book in the series.

Starting Over At Blueberry Creek by Annie Rains #4
Brenna had to put college on hold to raise her younger sister after their parent's death.  Now that Eve is an adult and going forward in her chosen career maybe she can go back to college.  Luke is new to town as the assistant fire chief.  He hires Eve and it feeds Brenna's deepest fears.  Since he is her next door neighbor it is easy to confront him about this choice. Their attraction is instant, but neither one is ready or wanting a relationship.  Fate has other plans and they cross each other's paths frequently. Will they fight or give into their attraction? Another good choice to take a break from all the heartache that has been happening in our country lately.

Once Upon A Moonlight Night by Elizabeth Hoyt (audio) #10.5
A re-listen of Hippolyta's escape and rescue.

We celebrated  grandson Cameron's 3rd birthday last week and will celebrate Cole's 6th birthday at the end of this week.  It has been a tradition to take Cole to the zoo to celebrate and we just learned the zoo will be opening this week!

I'd wager Daring and the Duke will be a good audio listen. Always adds so much to a good story.

I'm just starting my Monday visits and it's already Tuesday morning! I've been meaning to read a Julia London romance. I don't think I ever have. Maybe audio is the way to go; I never thought of that! My post is at:
