Weekly Reading Wrap Up (SP/IMWAYR?) 8/27

Little Big Love by Katy Regan
Ten year old Zac has decided it is time to meet his father. He has been told that his father did a "runner" before he was born. He does not know that his mother Juliet and grandparents are keeping a secret.  Part of the secret is also what really happened to his Uncle Jamie. He enlists the help of his best friend/neighbor Tegan in the search. As they conduct their investigation the story slowly comes out. Told in the voices of Zac, Juliet and Mike (Zac's grandfather). A nice, feel good read.

Twice Bitten by Lynsay Sands
Book 27 in this series is the story of Elspeth and Wyatt. They have met, but due to a interfering mother she doesn't remember. Wyatt is determined to find out what happened and take it slowly this time around. They also have to figure out who is trying to kill Elspeth.  A good series to pick up when a change of pace is needed.

Rock Hard by Nalini Singh (#1) audio
Book one in the series about the members of the rock band School Boy Choir finding love. Narrated by Justine O'Keef. Molly and Fox's story.  Very different from her paranormal series, but did like the characters enough to listen to the next book.

Lovely to be away in Seattle, and enjoying family. And a new grand-niece. I know the joy of that. I prefer Nalini S's paranormal to her contemporary.
