Dear Liam,
(Maybe one day I will call you Dad but not yet)
This is your son, Zac. I am writing this letter to give you an opportunity. I know you did a runner just before I was born and weren't interested in being my dad, but how could you decide if we'd never met? I didn't know I wanted to be Teagan's friend until she moved onto the same estate as me. Luckily she was nice, but she could have been annoying. I don't want to be offensive, but I have been really angry with you since the day my mum and me went on the promenade train in Cleethorpes when I was three and my mum told me you existed.
Little Big Love by Katy Regan
Anyway, after what Mum told me about my dad, I felt like I could deal with anything. I felt like my happiness could equal out any badness, like, if someone nicked my clothes in swimming now, I'd be like, Take 'em! I don't care!

I'd read more... and I like the cover, too! Hope you're enjoying it.
Sounds interesting. I'm curious to know where the story goes. This week I have Through the Fire by Katie Ruggle from my review stack. Happy reading!
What a sweet letter! Now I must read more. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
I like this one. I can understand the little boy's anger. I'm sure he will get over it in time. Maybe not. Just guessing.
I can understand his anger - it sounds like an interesting premise. I hope you're enjoying this one, Nise.
This sounds like it would be a good read for a fall day of reading. Thanks for stopping by Girl Who Reads.
Hmm, not sure about this one from the intro, I've never heard of it either. I hope you enjoy it.
Aw, that's so sweet. And now I want to read the rest of the story.
