Tuesday Intro/Teaser

First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intros is a weekly meme hosted by Diane at Bibliophile by the Sea every Tuesday. To participate share the opening paragraph or two of a book you've decided to read based on that paragraph. Please feel free to join in, First Chapter~First Paragraph~Tuesday Intros.

Prologue
Stephen pushed the hair off his wife's clammy forehead and stroked her cheek. Paula's skin was pale and tinged with green. The Uber driver had to stop three times to let her throw up. When he finally pulled into the driveway, Stephen gave Paula a worried look, "You sure you don't want to go to the ER?"

Moral Defense by Marcia Clark (Samantha Brinkman #2)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by Ambrosia of The Purple Booker

Paula stumbled into the room. But before she could reach the bed, she tripped over...something on the floor.

I'm thinking she should be going to ER and I'm concerned about what that is on the floor. Sounds like a really good book. Thanks for sharing. Here's my link: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-1ox

Sounds good. I have a couple of mysteries by Marcia Clark on TBR mountain that I haven't had a chance to read yet. Maybe I should move them nearer the top of the stack. One of my TTs is from Forgotten City by Carrie Smith - a soon to be published thriller. Happy reading!

Uh oh. I wonder if it's her husband she tripped over. I'd sure keep reading.

I can't find any way to leave a comment to link up my teaser at The Purple Booker. Were you able to do that?
