Prologue
Stephen pushed the hair off his wife's clammy forehead and stroked her cheek. Paula's skin was pale and tinged with green. The Uber driver had to stop three times to let her throw up. When he finally pulled into the driveway, Stephen gave Paula a worried look, "You sure you don't want to go to the ER?"
Moral Defense by Marcia Clark (Samantha Brinkman #2)

You know its the beginning of a mystery here!
I read Samantha Brinkman No. 1 this year, and loved it. Now I want to read this one. Thanks for sharing. Here's mine: “THE SLEEPWALKER”
Well that sounds about like my week so far, lol. Great Teaser.
I'm thinking she should be going to ER and I'm concerned about what that is on the floor. Sounds like a really good book. Thanks for sharing. Here's my link: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-1ox
Sounds good. I have a couple of mysteries by Marcia Clark on TBR mountain that I haven't had a chance to read yet. Maybe I should move them nearer the top of the stack. One of my TTs is from Forgotten City by Carrie Smith - a soon to be published thriller. Happy reading!
Uber has made it into novels! LOL I do like the sound of this one and am looking forward to reading it. Thanks for sharing, Nise'!
Uh oh. I wonder if it's her husband she tripped over. I'd sure keep reading.
My TT from Mercury Retrograde
I didn't know the second book in this series was out yet. I definitely want to read it. SSounds good.
I really like this one will have to add to my list - thanks for sharing and thanks for visiting my blog
Ooh yes great opener - it sounds like the start of something big...
I can't find any way to leave a comment to link up my teaser at The Purple Booker. Were you able to do that?
I'd read more for sure. Hope you are enjoying this and Happy Holidays.
