The Unidentified Redhead by Alice Clayton
Gracie has a returned to LA to give acting a second chance. She is living with her best friend Holly, a talent agent, just starting her own business. Holly has set up an audition for Gracie that she is anxiously awaiting. She attends a party with Holly and meets her biggest client British heart throb Jack. Gorgeous leading man Jack happens to be witty, charming, and nine years younger than she. Their attraction is instant, but Grace is worried about their age difference. Jack has just completed a movie based on a best selling book that has all the ladies drooling for it's release. They are told to keep their relationship quiet, which fits right into Gracie's insecurities and lends to moments of hilarity. She gets the part that will kick start her career, but it is in New York. Will their budding relationship survive long distance? At times Grace's zaniness got annoying, but I did love Jack. The ending leads to another book, but this one did not leave me interested enough to continue.
The Mask by Taylor Stevens
Vanessa Michael Munroe is taking a long needed break from her high stakes job. She joins her boyfriend Miles in Japan. He is working as a security consultant for a development company investigating the theft of technology. Vanessa quickly finds herself bored, and want to join Miles at work. Miles keeps putting her off, and when he finally asks her to come to work she is glad. Shortly after Miles is arrested for murder. Vanessa has to put all of her skills to work to find the real killer as the police are not investigating. The action and twisty goodness that makes Vanessa such a great character leaps off the pages drawing you in to see if she has met her match. This is book five in the series and really best read along with the others. Can't wait to see where Vanessa ends up next.

Trick or Treat was cold and rainy. Cole wasn't too interested in the kids that came to the door, but had fun playing while in his costume.

Your new books look good, especially the one where the main character wants a second go at being an actress.

Your little one is adorable in his giraffe costume. We didn't pass out candy but took the dames out into the 'hood to keep it local. We had fun and most neighbors were generous with candy.
