Tuesday Intro/Teaser

First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intros is a weekly meme hosted by Diane at Bibliophile by the Sea every Tuesday. To participate share the opening paragraph or two of a book you've decided to read based on that paragraph. Please feel free to join in, First Chapter~First Paragraph~Tuesday Intros.

I died once. I remember now, as much as I am capable of remembering anything, the sensation of pain, burning and sharp, followed by fatigue, crushing and deep. I'd wanted to lie down; I recall that clearly. I'd needed to be done with it. But I hadn't. I'd fought the pain, the fatigue, the fu*king white light. I'd clawed my way back to the land of the living. Because of Vero. She needed me.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by Jenn/ MizB of A Daily Rhythm

Inside the vehicle looks like a slaughterhouse. Female driver suffered a number of lacerations before the accident, afterward, who knows.

I've really enjoyed several of Lisa Gardner's books. And I've got this one on my radar already. Thanks for sharing the tidbits from it. :-)

This sounds intriguing. I'll have to add it to my wishlist. My teaser this week comes from the latest in a science fiction series I adore - Dragon in Exile by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller. Happy reading!

I have not read one of her books for a long time.

Thanks for the reminder. This one sounds quite good.

Thanks for sharing.

I read this one and loved it, as I do all of Lisa Gardner's books-- read every single one so far! This one is a bit quirkier than usual, just warning you, but I did enjoy it very much.

I've never read Lisa Gardner, though I know she is thought highly of.
I just want to know Vero is!

Today I'm featuring The Last Original Wife by Dorothea Benton Frank.

I love that dramatic opening and your Teaser too. I know I've read a book by this author in the past, and now I'm wondering why I haven't read more of her stories.
My Tuesday post features Nobody’s Cuter Than You.

Oh wow, this is an absolutely amazing beginning! I would be swearing a lot more if I had to claw my way back from death, as well! This beginning would definitely make me continue reading, I mean, now I simply NEED to know more! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great week and that I see you at ABEA!
