Like that intro a lot, and would definitely read more.
I read every single one of the Eve Dallas books last year. Every one. And I haven't read this one yet. So, yes, I'm intrigued and I'll get to this one later this spring or summer. They are kind of addicting for me. LOL
I don't usually read crime, but that sounds like a good start.
Not my usual genre, but that's quite an opening!
That's a good beginning. Girl Who Reads
Someday I may give this series another try.
Great teaser! This book is new to me but the intro is intriguing.

A great intro from an author I've never tried - I think I might have to now. My Tuesday post is here https://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2015/04/07/first-chapter-first-paragraph-april-7/
Intriguing snippets!
This author never disappoints. That's an excellent way to start an Eve Dallas novel. Enjoy it Nise.
I've not tried this series, but I like the opening. I'd keep reading!
