Tuesday Intro/Teaser

First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intros is a weekly meme hosted by Diane at Bibliophile by the Sea every Tuesday. To participate share the opening paragraph or two of a book you've decided to read based on that paragraph. Please feel free to join in, First Chapter~First Paragraph~Tuesday Intros.

Prologue

Killing was easier than I thought it cold be, and a lot more rewarding. I finally feel as if I've done something important, something that deserves real attention. All my life I've tried, done my best, but no one ever truly appreciated my efforts, really saw me for who and what I was. I can say objectively, honestly, I did a good and efficient job on this new, important project, start to finish.

But the kicker, at least for Eve, was the message written on the wall above the thickly padded headboard, in the precise block lettering, black against the gray.

Like that intro a lot, and would definitely read more.

I read every single one of the Eve Dallas books last year. Every one. And I haven't read this one yet. So, yes, I'm intrigued and I'll get to this one later this spring or summer. They are kind of addicting for me. LOL

I don't usually read crime, but that sounds like a good start.

A great intro from an author I've never tried - I think I might have to now. My Tuesday post is here https://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2015/04/07/first-chapter-first-paragraph-april-7/

This author never disappoints. That's an excellent way to start an Eve Dallas novel. Enjoy it Nise.
