Tuesday Intro/Teaser

First Chapter First Paragraph Tuesday Intros is a weekly meme hosted by Diane at Bibliophile by the Sea every Tuesday. To participate share the opening paragraph or two of a book you've decided to read based on that paragraph. Please feel free to join in, First Chapter~First Paragraph~Tuesday Intros.

Men, Sima thought, can't live with them, can't beat them to death with a nine iron. But a girl could exact some revenge, and she was a girl bent on just that. Nobody deserved a good dose of revenge - or a beating with a nine iron a much as Trey Ziegler. The f**kball had booted her out of the apartment they'd shared, even though she had the same territorial rights to the place as he did.

Festive In Death by J.D. Robb

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of  Should Be Reading.

Two in the morning, two in the freaking morning in the frozen bowels of December, and she had to roll out of a warm bed beside a hot husband and deal with what might be a dead body - or a drunken prank by a woman who drove her crazy on the best of days. In moments like this, being a cop sucked."

Do you know I read the entire Eve Dallas series in 2014? All jillion of them. It was a fun binge. And I remember very little of any of them. Pretty sure I read this one. It's the one that was published this last fall isn't it? A new one is out soon.

It's amazing to me that Eve is still going strong! I think this is number 38 or 39? My youngest daughter is crazy for them. Not me. I'll take Nora Roberts the old fashioned way. I hope you're enjoy them.

J. D. Robb is such an excellent writer! I'm looking forward to reading Festive in Death soon. Your Teaser (and the book's beginning) really grabbed me.
My Tuesday post features SIX STRINGS.

I love J.D. Robb, I've read every novel in this series -- and will keep reading then until she stops.

Great teaser :)

I didn't like the books in this series I read years ago and never continued. I received a copy of Naked in Death for Christmas, and am thinking maybe I should give it another try. Maybe the second time is the charm?

Hah! I love Eve! I'm way, way behind in this series, but she's still so much fun as a character. SOOOO much sass!!

Here are My Teasers.

Oh! Now I feel guilty that I've not read more of this series. I live it and haven't read a new one in about a year. I think a trip to the library is in order.

That's some opening! I've only read the very first Eve Dallas and was unsure whether to continue. I've also read several Nora Roberts over the years. No denying what a talented author she is!
