Looked out the window last evening to see a beautiful sky at sunset. My camera did not pick up the intensity of the pinks and purples, trust me, it was so pretty!

This is beautiful still. But I know what you mean, often the photo doesn't fully represent what we actually see. I always find that the photo is usually darker than what I see at sunset.

those colours are gorgeous-sunsets can be very difficult to capture.

You may feel it doesn't quite capture what you saw, but it really is a beautiful photo, and the colours and silhouette effect are lovely.
