What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

Wow, this is a first for me...I barely finished one book last week.  I am stuck in this moody reader funk and keep picking up a book, reading a few chapters, putting it down to pick up another book.  I've got bookmarks in five books right now.

Books Read Last Week:
The Homecoming of Samuel Lake by Jenny Wingfield  - a touching, emotionally packed debut novel - my review will be up soon.

Reading:
Abdication by Juliet Nicolson
What Doesn't Kill You by Iris Johansen
The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
11/22/63 by Stephen King (print and audio)
The Redbreast by Jo Nesbo

Listening to Defending Jacob by William Landay (Grover Gardner), Catch Me by Lisa Gardner (Kirsten Potter) and Love in a Nutshell by Evanovich and Kelly (Lorelei King)

I read THE HOMECOMING OF SAMUEL LAKE too, it was long but pretty good I thought. I liked both of your audio books very much but read them. I don't listen to audio.

What do you think of 11/22/63? I downloaded a sample of it on my Nook and the sample was great. I was hoping to get the whole book from the library, though.

My Monday post is here.

Can't wait for your review of The HOmecoming of Samuel Lake - I loved it! Also hope to read 11/22/63 this year and think the print/audio combination would work for me, too. The paperback will be out next month.

It makes me feel better that even you can have a slow reading week every once in awhile :)
