Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.
We were snowed in for two days last week which provided me with extra hours of reading!
Books Read:
The Secret Lives of Dresses by Erin McLean (Delightful)
Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick (liked it better than Hush, Hush)
Worth Dying For by Lee Child (love Jack Reacher)
The Distant Hours by Kate Morton (brilliant)
I did give up on The Scorch Trials by James Dashner about 1/2 way through. I just did not care what was happening and was not connecting to any of the characters. I may pick it up later and see if I get a different reaction.
Listening to:
The Long Road Home by Mary Alice Monroe
Reading
The Confession by John Grisham
Villette by Charlotte Bronte
Reviews Posted:
Wired (audio)
The Chocolate War (audio)
The Shadowed Mind

The Secret Lives of Dresses is on my wishlist. I hope you stop by and see me. http://bookskidsanimalsandmore.blogspot.com/2011/02/its-monday-what-are-you-reading.html
I haven't yet read Hush Hush or Crescendo, but my Not-So-Bebe-Girl Autumn rocketed through Hush Hush, but put Crescendo down at about 1/4 of the way saying that she didn't like it as much. I've seen reviews on both sides, so I think I'll have to read them for myself to judge for myself. The Distant Hours is indeed brilliant and received total love from me. I'm off to read your review of 13 Rue Therese! Enjoy your reading week!
I got a lot of reading done too!! We didn't have school Wed-Fri!!! Have a great week Nise!
