My daughter and I came from Michigan; my mother from Ketchikan, Alaska to find a treasure trove in the Bremerton, Washington Library Friend's books sale. Now we have to find a box to mail them home to ourselves as they would cause our suitcases to weigh over the limit of 50 lbs.!
I am sorry to be missing out on all the fun during today's Read-A-Thon, but sacrifices must be made for vacation.

I hope you had a great time on your vacation Nise' - you certainly did in terms of book finds! Yay! I can't read all of the titles but I see some great books in your piles!
Does your mom live in Alaska? Have you been? I'd love to go to Alaska one day. All the photos I've seen of the scenery and vistas in Alaska blow me away!
