Incarceron is a prison so vast that it contains not only cells, but also metal forests, dilapidated cities, and vast wilderness. Finn, a seventeen-year-old prisoner, has no memory of his childhood and is sure that he came from Outside Incarceron. Very few prisoners believe that there is an Outside, however, which makes escape seems impossible. Catherine Fisher's sci fi/fantasy YA had me a bit intimidated at first, but as I read further I became really involved in the story. The mystery of the prison is very intriguing. I still have many unanswered questions, but hopefully the next installments will provide answers. Book 2 Sapphique is out this month.

That seals the deal...I have to read this one!
This sounds a little creepy.
I was also intrigued by this book but the world building part was more attractive for me. I suck with creating distinctive settings especially vivid descriptions of fictitious places and scenery. I'll definitely read the next installment because like you I have questions too.
I truly want this one, it does sounds really good and different
