Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.
Last week's reading got off to a slow start due to my sadness about my cat's passing Monday. I did manage to read five books:
YAs:
Den Of Thieves by Julia Golding (okay)
Cat O’Nine Tails by Julia Golding (better)
Adult:
The Boneman’s Daugher by Ted Dekker (suspenseful)
Her Mother’s Hope by Francine Rivers (loved it)
Refuge on Crescent Hill by Melanie Dobson (quick read)
Got a good start on Marcelo in the Real World by Francisco X. Stork.
On the stack for this week:
Alchemy and Meggy Swann by Karen Cushman.
Wild Ride by Jennifer Crusie & Bob Mayer.
Money to burn by James Grippando.
A Tailor Made Bride by Karen Witemeyer
Reviews Posted Last Week:
Indivisible by Kristen Heitzmann
Shine, Coconut Moon by Neesha Meminger
Blood Vines by Erica Spindler
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

I am so sorry to hear about your cat. Our pets give so much to us and ask so little in return, it is always hard to say goodbye to such a good friend.
It looks like you read some great books this week and you have some excellent read lined up for this week. Enjoy!
You did good reading!
Mondays: Mailbox/Whereabouts/Musings
I am sorry very sorry about your cat, I cannot imagine how sad it must be. (hug)
You still managed to read quite a bit, I hoped it helped a little. It looks as though you have another great week ahead. Happy reading. My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/05/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-17-may.html

Hi Nise - so sorry to hear about your cat. That is hard.
I need to put my review of Boneman's Daughter up this week and am curious about your review of this one :)
Have a good week!
I am sorry about the loss of your cat. It's so painful to lose a member of the family. :-(
:( on your Cat.
You have some great books on stack this week. I like how you mix up a little YA and Adult!
Lots to read, and a nice selection, too.
I know how losing a pet can be such a hard thing to deal with!!
I can't wait to read your review of Her Mother's Hope and I wish you a great week of reading!
Hi Nise - So sorry to read about your Sookie. She look like a regal cat. It is hard to lose a member of the family like that.
You have some varied books. A Tailor Made Bride sounds particularly interesting to me. I hope this week was better than last week.
