Dance Away With Me by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (audio)
Tess, a young widow, moves to a small town aptly named Runaway Mountain to escape and heal. She just wants to be left alone but her neighbor Bianca is determined to be friends. Ian is a famous street artist who also lives in town trying to get his mojo back. Tess spends a lot of time outdoors dancing to loud music, which is how she meets the neighbors. Tess is a former midwife and Bianca is pregnant. When tragedy strikes Tess and Ian are pulled together to help this newborn infant while trying to find the father. Can these two heartbroken (for different reasons) people find their way to a new life, maybe even together? Nicole Poole narrated this delightful story.

Sara hears about a letter writing campaign for deployed troops. She decides to step out of her comfort zone and sends a quick card. Major Gabe tried to pawn off the card to someone else, but that week so many arrived that he opens Sara's card. He is intrigued and replies. They begin seven months of back and forth emails in which they share their lives. Sara is considered the family spinster and has been nanny to her 5 year old niece. As she gets further out of her comfort zone she realizes how much she is unappreciated. When Gabe suggests they meet when he is home she is reluctant, but after another family humiliation she goes. Will being together in person bring them closer or have the opposite effect? Slow moving story with a couple of characters that you want to smack. Loved the dog Trouble.
Vivian is trying to establish her photography as art in the 1930s. To help pay the bills she takes pictures of crime scenes to sell to newspapers. When she takes a picture of the "dagger killers" latest victim she somehow gets on the killer's radar. Nick is a PI with a special gift. He is sent to help protect Vivian. Both are interested in finding out the killer's identity and what put her in the limelight. When Vivian's house burns down they move to secluded Burning Cove and with the help of some of it's residents the have a plan to catch the killer. Fast paced with a twist made this an enjoyable read.

Sarah is a librarian that hears the books talk to her. She is always giving the towns people just the right book at the right time. Grace has moved back to Dove Pond with her family to help Mama G with her Alzheimers. She has taken the job to help save the city financially. She plans to leave as soon as possible to get back to her life. What she didn't plan on was being drawn into this charming town and it's residents. The neighbor Trevor is a big help with Mama G and they become friends. Despite the abrupt ending I enjoyed listening to Tavia Gilbert, Amanda Ronconi and Sebastian York narrate the story.
