Weekly Reading Wrap Up (SP/IMWAYR?)

Vendetta in Death by J.D. Robb #46
Eve and her team investigate a series of deaths that lead them to believe that they are targeted killings.  Each body has a poem signed by Lady Justice.  As they sift through the clues of the victims they are led to a support group that has Eve figuring out who is next as well as who is calling herself Lady Justice. Can she gather enough evidence to charge the killer before the next victim is found?  As always, a fast paced, enjoyable read.  A great pick for my first book of 2020.

All Fired Up by Lori Foster #3
Mitch is returning to town with the hope of connecting with his half-brothers Jack and Brodie.  He is surprised as how easily they accept him into the family, even Ros his brother's mother receives him with open arms, despite him just being released from prison.  Charlotte has been considered a part of the family since her parents death.  When Mitch's past comes looking for him his family rallies around him even more.  Charlotte and Mitch's relationship builds slowly and their story is a good conclusion to the series.

Blackout by Danika Dark #4 (audio)
The Keystone team is tasked with protecting the lives of the members of the higher authority. Raven and Christopher's partnership has been a huge part of the series. Great characters, plenty of action narrated expertly by Nicole Poole.

This is the last week in January and we are still enjoying a mild winter.  Wonder what February will have in store for us weather wise.

This weather has been so crazy this year! I hope that now we don't really get anymore winter - like it just keeps better from here. :)

Have a great week!

I've been wondering the same thing about the weather! Let's hope it stays mild. :)

Blackout looks fun. I've seen good things about Dannika Dark's novels.

Until the past week we've had a mild winter but now there's a good snow cover. I'm ok with that but its the frigid temps that are my undoing :) I hope you enjoy your reading this week!

Our weather has been mild too. Lots of snow but no bitter cold to go with it. I love the In Death series. Come see me week here. Happy reading!

Daffodils are in bloom here and we are going to be near 70F this week. I think winter is over though we could still get a freak ice storm in March. See what I read Girl Who Reads
