Shamed by Linda Castillo #11
Kate investigates a child that has gone missing after picking walnuts with her grandmother. The grandmother was killed with the message "she belongs to me". The family of the little girl is keeping secrets as well as the others in the community that hinder the investigations. Another good installment in this series.
I finished up the year with this book. My first book of the New Year has been started.
We spent more time on a couple of Netflix series: Wanted and Safe, both worth watching.
Do you make New Year's resolutions? I do not, just committed to doing everything I can towards better health and being thankful for the many blessings that come!
Up Next:
Vendetta in Death by J.D. Robb
All Fired Up by Lori Foster

I liked both Wanted and Safe, and now I'm watching Virgin River. Enjoy your First Book...and the upcoming week.
The story sounds very much in keeping with stories of abducted children nowadays. Intriguing.
I haven't tried any Amish books but that series does sound good. I don't make resolutions - I try to make changes when I realize I need to. Happy New Year!
I don't think I'm familiar with Wanted and Safe. I will have to check them out. I hope you enjoy your first book and your other upcoming books! Have a great week, Nise'!
