Weekly Wrap Up (SP/IMWAYR?)

Roomies by Christina Lauren (audio)
Holland is working for her Uncle whose hit musical has just lost one of it's musicians. She's been in a bit of a creative rut and often stops to listen to a subway musician that she has a secret crush on.  Calvin is pursuing his musical dream even if that means staying in the country illegally.  One day while Holland is listening to Calvin play she is mugged and when she wakes up in the hospital she gets the brilliant idea to ask her rescuer Calvin to audition for her Uncle.  He is offered the job, but his illegal status is a problem. Holland comes up with the idea of them getting  married so he can take the job. He agrees and the first thing they need to get through is the interview. Hilarious, emotional and sweet.  I could not stop listening. This marriage of convenience story is narrated by KC Sheridan.

What A Lady Needs For Christmas by Grace Burrowes #4
Lady Joan has found herself in a situation. Possibly compromised by a fellow fashion designer who was after her designs.  She is on a hurry to get home to her family, but concerned about her reputation. Dante a man of trade is on his way home for Christmas and offers her a solution; to travel with him, his sister and two children. As they travel they get to know each other and further the acquaintance as they are attending the same house party. When Dante offers her a solution that will benefit them both she agrees.  What starts out as a convenience turns into love. Another good story in the MacGregor series from this favorite author.

Having book marks in four books kept the count low for the week:
A Stranger In The House by Shari LaPena
The People vs Alex Cross by James Patterson
Judgment Road by Christine Feehen
Hellbent by Gregg Hurtwitz

I could blame the time change, but that only works for a day not a week.

Linking to these memes:

Kathryn at Book Date hosts IMWAYR?, a place to  meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It's a great opportunity to organize yourself, visit, comment, and add to that every growing TBR pile.

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received.

I use the time change as an excuse for everything for at least a week. You'll finish tons of books next week.

I enjoy any Grace Burrowes that I have read but haven't read her for awhile. Lot of book marks there! Good that you can keep track of them!

Roomies does look good. Embrace the time change excuse!

I agree - embrace the time change reason! I just wish they would leave the time either one way or the other. Don't care which! It's amazing how one hour messes with my head.

I really want to read A Stranger in the House myself so I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts when you finish! Two books finished is always a success in my book. Have a great week and happy reading!

I have every confidence that you'll manage all those bookmarks in a timely fashion. I've been in such a reading slump... your titles look good, keep reading.
