Make Me Love You by Johanna Lindsey
Dominic Wolfe and Robert Whitworth have had three duels and the Prince Regent has had enough. He orders the Whitworth's to send their daughter Brooke North to marry Dominic "The Wolf" to stop the dispute with serious consequences if either family refuses. Both Robert and Wolf expect the other to refuse and forfeit their land and titles. Brooke is happy to escape her family and will do what it takes to stay at Wolf's home. I liked Brooke's determination to make a better life for herself even though all choice was taken away. Wolf grew on me as he began to see that Brooke was nothing like her brother.
Hadrian by Grace Burrowes (#12)
Hadrian and Avis have been friends since childhood. Avis experienced a horrific attack as a young girl and Hadrian helped her through it before he left to serve in the Church. He has now left the church to return home and take over running the family estate for his brother Harold. When Hadrian realizes how much Avis has given up living he sets out to change things. The local gossip mill still talks about the incident as if it happened yesterday and becomes threatening to Avis as well as Hadrian.. Lady Avis' steward Fen helps Hadrian get to the bottom of what is happening in order to help Avis get her HEA. Another great read from this author.
Kiss and Tell by Suzanne Brockman
A classic by one of my favorite authors. Leila is home visiting in Florida and attends a New Year's Eve costume party. She is kissed by a "Ninja", is swept off her feet and wants to know his identity. Marshall is that ninja, the last person Leila would ever expect may be in love with her as he is her brother's best friend and her tormentor when she was young. They have to get over their habit of bickering, insults and snarkiness (which takes a bit too long) to find each other. Read by Susan Boyce.

The Second Girl by David Swinson
Our transition into Fall has been beautiful. We are experiencing warmer than normal temperatures with mild weather predicted for the next week. The outdoor fall art/craft fairs have been enjoyable to attend.

I haven't been to any art fairs yet, but I'm hoping we'll get to do some fun fall stuff in October. And yes this weather has been pretty nice. :) The Perfect Neighbors sounds suspenseful, I think I saw that one on another blog too
Love a good Johanna Lindsey book, always good tension! Love S Brockmann too although not so much her earlier romances. Fall/craft fairs sound awesome.
I'm seeing The Perfect Neighbours everywhere but don't remember seeing it on any new release listings to request it. Not sure why it didn't catch my attention somewhere.
I really want to read the Coben but had to put in a request via NG to the overseas publisher so might not get it. Not sure if I've requested it from the Aussie publisher but it hasn't arrived, so...
We were talking at Water Aerobics about an oldies song (the Y always puts on oldies music for our class) with a title like the one you are reading. How, exactly, I wonder, can you Make Me Love You?! Funny.

I just bought Still Life as a kindle deal yesterday. Looking forward to finally reading Louise Penny!
The weather has been awesome the last few days here too. I love it!
I have heard great things about Louise Penny, I should give her a try.
I enjoyed Still Life and The Perfect Neighbors...and I've been hearing good things about Home.
Thanks for sharing...and enjoy!
Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
The Second Girl sounds really good!
The second girl sounds good, right up my street and DC is a place I know well so I'll be adding this to my list.
The Second Girl looks like my kind of read. I would be interested in your thoughts. Good to hear a new Harlan Coben book is on its way too.
Have a great week :-)

Thanks for the recommendations! Some of these look like ones I would enjoy too!
Home and Still Life are both winners!
Attending fall arts and crafts fairs sounds like fun. Here it has been cooler and rainy. I'm hoping for some warmer weather this week. I don't want to pack away my short sleeved tees yet.
I just finished reading The Perfect Neighbors yesterday and I liked it. It reminded me of Liane Moriarty's books. Make Me Love You sounds good. I am curious about The Bachelor Auction. I am looking for new contemporary romance series to order for the library. One of my patrons complained yesterday that we haven't been getting very many romance paperbacks lately which is true unfortunately. Oops! Thanks for the recommendation :)
Hope you have a great week!
