2014 Favorites and Yearly Wrap-Up

The best thing of 2014 was the arrival of our first grandchild Cole in June. Pictured with Uncle Caleb and Uncle James.

What a precious, precious little boy! Congratulations and Happy New Year!

I'm amazed at your number of books, but you certainly had some good ones on your best list. One I particularly enjoyed was NATCHEZ BURNING. Will be discussing it with my book group in the spring and I'm so ready for the next in that trilogy.

Nise you did some 'serious' reading in 2014. Amazing. I hardly ever read male authors but you did really well. Orphan Train was a great audio I agree. Cole is growing so fast, beautiful.

Such a cute little boy (or should I say big boy Cole, sitting up already!). Love that photo!

I have Natchez Burning but I think it is in the middle of a series, so I should read the previous ones first. I heard good things about Coldest Girl and the Dark Road to Mercy. I've read a handful of your mentioned books and enjoyed them too.

Here's to a great year of reading!

Best present ever under your tree, Cole is adorable and isn't it great when they can sit up. You had a brilliant reading year and lots of my faves on your list and some I'm adding to my wishlist. I really want to get to Cress this year :)
