Saturday Snapshot

February was a hard month for our family with the passing of three family members within 3 weeks of each other:
Betty - Hubby's Mom,  My MIL, Grandma to 7, Great-Grandma to 4
Bev - Aunt, (Betty's sister-in-law)
Rich - Uncle (Betty's brother)

We celebrated their lives with tears and laughter. They will be greatly missed.

In a few weeks we will be celebrating new life.  My daughter Courtney and her cousin Aimee are expecting!  Aimee is expecting a girl in April and my daughter is expecting a boy in June.
To participate in the Saturday Snapshot hosted by West Metro Mommy post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.

It is a sad time when the senior members of family leave us. February was a tough time for you all. Love the photo of the promised new life. Babies are such a joy. We lost my mum last September, and my 89 year old Dad enjoys the visits from two of his great grand children of 3months and 9 months. ( I love 'em too!)

Sorry to hear about your losses. And wonderful news at the same time about the new lives about to start. How exciting, is it their first child and first time grandma?

It's so difficult to lose a family member, and three in one month must have been devastating. I hope you're able to focus on happy memories. I love the photo of the two expectant moms. The new babies will surely share plenty of fun times together throughout childhood. How lucky they'll be to have a cousin so close in age.

Sorry to hear about your family's loss. It's never easy but hopefully the arrival of two new little ones will lessen the grief and bring lots of fun times ahead.
