What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

We had to tie our grill to the deck railing today due to extremely high winds.  They shook the house for hours.  Thankfully, we did not sustain any damage, but many were not as fortunate.

Thoughts on the Books I Read Last Week:

Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Jill Mansell
A nice read, not my favorite of this author's.

Tell No Lies by Gregg Hurwitz
Daniel left behind a life of privilege, and chose to become a counselor. He leads a group of criminals that as a last resort must be attend group therapy. Daniel receives a cryptic message Then a piece of mail with no return address arrives in Daniel’s inbox that warns, to "admit what he’s done or he’ll bleed for it".  He is not the attended recipient and when he and his wife look up the name they find out the man is dead. A race to find the killer begins as another envelope saying the same thing is delivered. A page turning thriller.

Six years by Harlan Coben

Jake Fisher reads an obit that changes his life. The man that married the love of this life 6 years ago has died. He attends the funeral and the woman he sees is not who he expects. As he investigates why, it becomes apparent that he was lied to and things get crazy fast.  Secrets and lies pile up as Jake races to find out what happened to Natalie.

Up Next:
Unspoken by Dee Henderson
Just One Year by Gayle Foreman
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Tell No Lies and Harlen Coben's latest both sound good. Hope you enjoy Fangirl when you get to it. Glad you got through the winds OK- we had a little damage in our area but not too bad.

sounds like great reads. We've had great wind too, but other than a few branches, and a whole lot of leaves, and a few shingle off the roof...no real damage.
