What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

After a week away working, I am back and hoping to get my reading mojo back.  It has seriously suffered in the last weeks.  I am close to finishing a couple of audios that will help with the feeling of accomplishment.

Thoughts on the Books I Read Last Week:

At Graves End by Jeanine Frost

Book three in the Night Huntress series have Bone and Cat fighting an enemy that is hard to kill.  A quick read that is entertaining and fun.

Once Upon A Tartan by Grace Burrowes

Tiberius Flynn, Earl of Spathfoy, has come to the Highlands to take custody of his little niece, but finds instead that the girl's aunt Hester captures Tye's heart.  This is the second book in the MacGregor series.  I absolutely love the Windham series and am surprised at how much I like these new characters.   Fee grabs your heartstrings and doesn't let go.  It was fun to watch her do the same to Tye.  The language lessons between Tye an Hester are priceless. I will read anything Grace writes!

Reading:
Second Grave on the Left by Darynda Jones

Up Next:
The Apple Orchard  by Susan Wiggs
The Likeness by Tana French

Tana French, haven't read a review of hers in awhile but I want to read her books, she sounds like a great author to try.

glad you are feeling "back", I'll never keep up with you. I've had one too many deaths this past six months, I'm just blown away with the death of my friend, I think I may have been the last one she spoke to. I feel very privileged to have been part of her very spectacular life.

I really like Jeaniene Frost's books. My only complaint is that she doesn' write fast enough. Come see my Monday wrap-up. Have a great reading week.

Audiobooks really are a life saver when you can't find time to sit down and read. I hadn't heard of Grace Burrowes before now but will have to check out Once Upon A Tartan because it sounds great.
