Before

This group is directly across from the sink, and got driect sunlight over the last 21 years.
Corner Cabinet Before
Corner Cabinet After
We removed the cabinet doors before beginning the project. We used Howard's Resore-A-Finish in golden oak. You apply it with 0000 steel wool, wipe it off, let it dry and then follow with Feed-N-Wax (also by Howard's). It took four of us 3.5 hours to do this job. I am so pleased with the results.
We are replacing the floor in the kitchen and dining room with hardwood. I am sure you will see before and after pictures for that project as well.
To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme created by Alyce of At Home With Books and now hosted by West Metro Mommy post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.

Well done! They're gorgeous! I do so admire handy people! Painting looks easy but when I do it I manage to get streaks.
Great job! I love Before and After stories....and hardwood on the floors sounds so lovely. Good luck with your projects!
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
It's funny how we can become motivated when there is an event coming up!!
My gosh...You did a great job on those cabinets! Do work cheap?! ;-)
Have a great weekend!
Nice job! Here’s my Saturday Snapshot
Wow! Looks great! Nice job!
Wow! Night and day difference here! Good work! Now, what's the next big project ?
Wow! They turned out terrific!! I love to see before and after photos. Then you can appreciate it even more! We have a lot of projects to do too but I can't get motivated. We did so many repairs and remodels over the years we are kind of burnt out. It's funny how an event (like your daughter's wedding) can get the ball rolling. You've really inspired me. Maybe (MAYBE) I'll get something done around here. Maybe. :D
Wow, that's amazing! They look like new cupboards.
Very nice! The before and after photos are a good idea, and they validate all that hard work.
Looks good :)
They turned out very well. Are you having the wedding at home? How exciting.
Good for you-they do look much nicer finished.
They look so great- the hard work certainly shows, I can see why you love it so much.
The cupboards look fantastic! We really need to do that as well. Ours are so worn already from use and the sun. This may be a good summer project for us as well. Can't wait to see the new floor too!
We used to do these projects- pre Gage :) This looks like a project well worth the time.
