This is my third year participating in Armchair BEA. The kick-off year I mostly lurked! It is a great way to meet new book bloggers, discover new to me authors, and find out all the happenings in the book world.
My participation will be a bit low key this year, as I am in the midst of my daughter's wedding preparations as you can see by the picture. We are in the centerpiece creation mode! I am signed up to comment mostly, but will be hosting an audiobook giveaway too.
I have been blogging for six years last March. I started my blog as a way to record my thoughts on the books read as well as a way to keep track of what I've read. What I found was a community of passionate readers that has lead me to genres I would have never considered on my own. I live in a small town on the Lake in Western Michigan. It is home to Brilliance Audio, also two fantastic narrators call West Michigan home!
I am currently reading Nicholas by Grace Burrowes, Scarlet by Marissa Meyer, and am listening to Dark Tide by Elizabeth Haynes and The Hit by David Baldacci.
Before you go, please enter my giveaway of a loaded Beach Bag just in time for Summer! Be sure to stop back later in the week of an audiobook giveaway.
Thanks for visiting.

I forgot about Armchair BEA! I hope you have a wonderful time participating and good luck with those centerpieces!
Wow, six years! I started primarily to "market" the books I'd written, but ended up mostly engaged by the community and the ability to experience many more books (to read) than I could have imagined.
Thanks for visiting my blog...and have fun with the wedding preparations.
Good luck with all the wedding stuff...it's such a fun time but can be a bit stressful getting everything done!
Does Brilliance Audio have a visitor's shop - I'd be there all the time if I lived near them!
My Intro Post
I've never participated in Armchair BEA but I should since the odds of getting to the real one are nil. Lol. It sounds like you're pretty busy with wedding planning. It's a nice thing to share with your daughter though.
Good luck with the wedding prep! It looks fun, but I can imagine it's stressful too. Six years is a long time to have been blogging, congrats! :)
Thank you for stopping by my post! :)
Ooh love planning for Weddings actually - you get to create so many pretty things! :) Thanks for visiting my BEA post, and I've followed your blog because if you love Jane Eyre and Shadow and Bone you have great taste! :D

Must be exciting having your daughter getting married! Wishing her and your new son-to-be a wonderful life together.
Freda's intro
Congrats on your daughter's wedding!! So exciting, but stressful too, I'm sure. My Mom & I planned my grandparent's 60th anniversary party earlier this year, and that was crazy, but still a lot smaller than a wedding, I'm sure.
Six years is very impressive! And don't worry about minimal participation this year; some of the fondest memories I have of me & my mom were made during my DIY wedding. Tattooed Books

Thanks for visiting my blog for intros. I have chased you up (or down), the key being you said we read similar books and that is one of the key aspects I will gain from Armchair BEA. Will be following you, and thanks for noting that we do have a similar vein of reading!

Congratulations on the wedding! I don't envy you with all the preparations! My niece is getting married in June and I need to get my task of the little bird seed things done! Enjoy BEA!

Wow 6 years? That's amazing! I've done personal blogging prior to book blogging for a little over 10 years but the mindset and audience is different. Congratulations to your daughter on her upcoming wedding!
Have a great week participating in Armchair BEA. :)
Thanks for visiting my intro post today! I'm so glad to know I'm not the only teen hamburger convert. :) Happy wedding planning!
