I finally finished my first audiobook for the year! I am not sure why my audio listening has almost come to a screeching halt, but I am determined to get my audio mojo back!
Thoughts on the Books I Read Last Week:
Me Before You by JoJo Moyes
Lou Clark is 26, lives at home and has just lost her job. She hesitantly takes a six month position as a caretaker to quadriplegic, Will Traynor. Will's personality is a challenge, but she is quirky enough and slowly wins him over. Once she finds out why the position is only for six months, I could not put the book down. This is a thought provoking read regardless of where you stand on the issue this book put forth. Filled with great characters, it is funny, emotional and even though it did not end the way I wanted, it was very satisfying. Also Read:
Iced by Karen Marie Moning (audio) (2/8) Dani is a smart, spunky, and determined to do whatever it takes to save Dublin
Lady Eve's Indiscretion by Grace Burrowes (2/6) Lady Eve rides to her HEA
X Marks The Scot by Victoria Roberts (2/13) Filled with lovely Highlanders
On My Stack:
Shattered by Dani Pettrey
A Howl For A Highlander by Terry Spear
Checkmate, My Lord by Tracey Devlyn
Lucky in Love by Jill Shalvis
Book Thoughts Posted:
The Tutor's Daughter by Julie Klassen
Love Finds You In Glacier Bay, Alaska by Goyer and Fleiss
January Wrap-Up

Like your selection of reads for this week.
I've requested Me Before You from the library...hope to get it soon.
Enjoy your week! And thanks for visiting my blog.
I had to look in a couple of places for my Sparky cover...Target (in our area anyway) is no longer carrying Amazon products.
Grace Burrowes is so stinkin' fantastic!! Glad you liked it - I know I can't wait to read it myself :)
Happy reading this week!
Whatcha readin' this week @ the Brunette Librarian and Don't forget to enter to win Philippa Gregory's "Changeling"
I really want to read Me Before You. I'm hoping to maybe read it with my book group someday.
I am super-slow with audio books anyway, so when I hit one that doesn't really excite me, I screech almost to a halt. I hope you find something to catch your attention again! Enjoy your week!
I really must get to Moning series this year!
Have a great reading week!

Dani Pettrey's newest sounding great. will check out your thoughts on Julie Klassen's regency - plot sounded intriguing..
with all your highland reads you might want to join the Scotland Reading Challenge! check it out..
I wasn't a big fan of Karen Marie Monings fever series, so I haven't picked up iced. Hope you enjoy it! I will watch out for your review ☺
I haven't listened to an audio book yet ... waahh very sad. I do have Me Before You on my reading stack. Those historical romances look yummy.
Have a wonderful week and happy reading :)

I was thinking about reading Iced - I have read the Fever series, and loved it. (Barrons! Lol) Was Iced as good?
LOL at X Marks the Scot!!! Sounds like some delish fun! Thanks for visiting my Monday memes post.
I really want to read Me Before You - it sounds so good!
What a great mix of books. How was X Marks The Scot? I'm still waiting to get my hands on a copy of it but it looks like a fun read.
Check out my Monday Post.
Me Before You struck me on a personal level. Will's injury is in the same place in the spine as mine. Thankfully my injury only partially paralyzed me but this book really made me think.
Have a great week!!
Me Before You sounds like a good one. I'll have to check it out. I didn't realize that Iced was out. I see you didn't give it a high rating - was it ok? I loved the series with Mac in it although. Still have the last one to listen to. Hope you have a good week.
I must get to Me Before You this month!! I can't wait to read your thoughts on Shalvis!! Have a great week!
Congrats on getting back to audiobooks! I've tried to get into them a few times, but there always seems to be the possibility of my five year old wandering into the room which is dangerous when I don't know what will happen next...
Happy Reading!
I lost my audio mojo too, maybe can work on finding it together. happy reading.
Me Before You sure does sound like a winner. I'm going to have to request the audio from my library.
I would love to read Me Before You. I've seen the book on quite a few blogs. I also would like to read the other one. I think she wrote one titled DarkFever. I wonder should those books be read in order. I want to try this author so badly.
I'm not listening to audios in the car anymore because of Gage and I'm getting a little antsy!
I do want to read Me Before You.
