Wishing all that celebrate a very Merry Christmas!
Those of other faiths may your celebrations be joyous.
.. Everyone asks, "why the lamb(s)?"

When our kids were younger, they were so focused on the wrapped presents under the tree that we decided we needed a different focus. My daughter had the lamb in her room on the left and I got the bright idea to put it under the tree minus the presents to remind the kids what Christmas is really about (the lamb of God born into a world needing a Savior). My friend, Andrea, made me the lamb on the right a few years ago, but the "cutesy" one still has a place under the tree.
Even though the kids are adults it is a tradition that I will continue! Now that I don't have to hide presents, they do end up under the tree earlier than Christmas morning.

What a sweet family tradition!
Love the lambs.
Great pictures. Merry Christmas!
Every Christmas morning, we would gather in the adult bed to read the Christmas story before heading downstairs to open presents. It was the same idea -- not focusing on the presents. But I don't think we would all fit in our bed anymore! Here's Mine
I love that idea and will have to keep that in mind when I am blessed with Grandchildren....love for them to look forward to something other than presents under the tree!!!
Pretty tree! Your tree skirt is lovely too. Merry Christmas!

A special and meaningful tradition and your tree is lovely too.
Wishing you a truly special Christmas Nise :)
Love the idea of the lamb under the tree. Your tree is so gorgeous and full. I haven't had a big tree since 1994 (the one shown last week with my son in front of it).
As for my table in my snapshot today...I found it at a place where I got a lot of my things: Krafters' Palace. Used collectibles. I had dolls on it when it was in my bedroom.
Bear With Me...good way to shift the focus♫ HappyMerryChristmasHoliday♥
