What a great group of books, Nise! There's something for everyone here. Many of them are on my list of books to read. I think I've only actually read DEFENDING JACOB, but it made my top read list this year.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful 2013 with lots of reading and fun!

I thought of doing my list by genre this year, but just broke it out by fiction and non-fiction. We have read 7 of your favorites and The Scorpio Races is on my TBR list.

Hurray for The Homecoming of Samuel Lake and thanks for the reminder that Dan Stevens narrates The Invisible Ones. It's a must listen for me. I really like the way you broke down your list.

Wow, we had quite a few in common! You also have several books on your list that I'm anxious to read.

Love the way you grouped them. And I learned something new, that JR Ward is a female author.

I want to read Defending Jacob, Heather G's and the Invisible Ones, love that they are on your list.

Here's to a great 2013

I love the way you've listed your favorites. I wish I could say that I've read at least one of your favorites, but I can't. That is a sign of my low book read count this year - under 40, blah! I am going to reference your list for some books to read at various points during 2013.

Happy New Year,Nise! I wish you great year, and loads of fun with the upcoming weddings....especially your daughter's.

Love the way you did your post, we have similar taste in books so we have quite a few in common. Language of Flowers was a favourite of mine in 2011. I must remember to bump Legend and The Snow Child up my 2013 reading list.
