Books Read Last Week:
The 500 by Matthew Quirk
Mike Ford gets recruited out of Harvard to an elite consulting firm and thinks he is well on his way to living life on the straight and narrow. He soon finds out all is not as it seems as he is makes a name for himself. A page turning thriller with plenty of action, secrets, betrayals and corruption makes this debut a must read.
Let the Devil Sleep by John Verdon
This is the third book in the Dave Gurney series, but stands well on its own. Retired Detective is recovering from his last case when he is drawn into an unsolved one helping a friend's daughter. For me, this was the best yet in the series. I love Dave's style of investigation, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes snarky, always fully immersed, and you know he will figure it out. A satisfying novel..
Vision in White by Nora Roberts
Bed of Roses by Nora Roberts
Book one and two in the Bride Quartet. Four women who've been friends since they were children are in the wedding business together. First up is Mac, the photographer that captures the HEA moments but doesn't believe it is for her. Boy is she mistaken. Book two is Emma, the florist, she believes in HEA moments and is surprised by the man that may be in hers. Funny, charming and great entertainment reads. I am currently reading book three, Savor the Moment..
Also Read:
Rev It Up by Julie Ann Walker (Oct.)
And When She Was Good by Laura Lippman (Sept. 28) (audio)
I am almost finished listening to Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin. Just started listening to Gold by Chris Cleave, Oath of Office by Michael Palmer and Duchess by Night by Eloisa James.

Those first two look pretty good.
Here is mine
I just read the wedding series by Nora Roberts this summer. I think the second and fourth were my favorites :) They were all good though!
Have a wonderful reading week! Whatcha readin' this week @ the Brunette Librarian :)
500 sounds interesting. I have a hard time finding a good thriller so I tend to stay away from them. It might be time to try again :)
Have a great week!
The Relentless Reader
Have a good week of reading. My favorite book this week was Ghouls Just Haunt to Have Fun by Victoria Laurie. Please come see what I'm reading now.
Congrats on all the books you read this week. One of my favorite books I read this month so far was "On The Island" by Tracey Garvis Graves. Today I'm finishing Debbie Macomber's book "The Inn at Rose Harbor." When I finish it, I am looking forward to reading a romantic comedy "Our Husband" by Stephanie Bond.
I have the Bride's Quartet sitting on my rolltop desk in the bedroom...a friend lent them to me, and I need to read them! Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
I cannot remember the last time I read a Nora Roberts book!
I know have at least two of them on TBR shelf. Enjoy your week!
Thanks for visiting my Monday post.

You had a really good week this past week, didn't you?! Happy reading this week.
I need to get back to the Brides Quartet!! John Verdon is an author I want to try. I do have his first book so I need to get it out of my son's room!!
I've been wanting to read the Nora Roberts series. It looks really good.
Looks like a great set of books... I want to read them all based on your comments. :-)
In Seattle we rode the train to the Airport (for fun); rode the train underground but not on tour; took the monorail to the Space Needle.
Had a lovely trip and am pulling pictures to share!
Happy reading this week.
500 sounds like an awesome read and it looks like you've got quite a bit of reading to do this week. I hope you enjoy all your books!

Well you know I also love the Dave Gurney series. So good. I started listening to Vision in White on a playaway and it stopped working halfway through!! Eventually I'll have to pick it up to finish, but I'm in no real rush.
