Now, decades later, Gordon is a former globetrotting consultant with a grown son, an ex-wife, and an overwhelming desire to see Glenna again. Stunned when Gordon walks into her Manhattan office, Glenna agrees to accompany him for a drink. As the two head out into the snow-swept city, they become caught up in the passions that drew them together then tore them apart, and as the evening unfolds, Gordon finally reveals the true reason for his return.
We meet Gordon and know that something terrible has happened. The story moves easily between past and present as it unfolds. Glenna and Gordon are sympathetic characters, and even though they make some heartbreaking decisions you really care about what happens to them. A very satisfying read.Author: Peter Gordon

You got my interest with this. I love books with characters that I can really care about. The time period interests me too -- I remember the draft lotteries and so I might be able to relate to Gordon's choices.
I would like to find out why he left...sounds good!
This sounds good and a new title to me.
This sounds pretty interesting.
I like books that move around from past to present... will keep an eye out for this title.
And now I wonder what has happened
