What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

March got off to a good reading start for me.  Being sick with cold/sinus helped as I could do nothing but sit around and read.

Books Read:

Lover Avenged by J.R. Ward
Rhevenge and Ehlena feature prominently in book #7. I did not like Rhevenge in the beginning, but really came to understand him through his story. Things are changing in the world J.R. has created for us to enjoy and I like those changes.
3 Bears

Father Mine by J.R. Ward - a novella about Z and Bella included in The Black Dagger Brotherhood Insider's Guide.  I enjoyed the author's comments/thoughts about her characters.
3 Bears

The Boy In The Suitcase by Lene Kaaberbol and Agnet Friis'
A fantastic, fast-paced thriller. I listened to the audio and had to pay attention to get all the characters straight in my mind. I did figured out "the reason" but it did not detract from the rest of the audiobook. Katherine Kellgren narrated and as always, she did a wonderful job.
3 Bears

Micro by Michael Crichton and Richard Preston (3/22)

Reading:
Three Colonels by Jack Caldwell
The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey

Hope you are feeling better, but glad you were at least able to read. Often when one was sick, even reading is not possible.

I've heard REALLY good things about The Boy in the Suitcase! Hope you enjoy it--think it's probably a bit too intense for me right now.
