I look forward to watching these buds shoot up this week as we are expecting temperatures in the high 60s - low 70s this week.
The tulips were newly planted in the fall and I look forward their blooming this Spring. I think they are a combination of reds and yellows. Since I can't remember it will be a surprise!
What are the signs of Spring in your area?

I love tulips! Can't wait to see them...and thanks for visiting my blog.
Tulips are my favorite too. I think we're a little ways from seeing them bloom here in Ohio. Here's Mine
I love to see bulbs pushing up out of the earth. They're so different from other plants in their unfurling.
I saw my first bulbs pop their heads this week!!
thanks for dropping by and visiting!
Oh, I so miss tulips. It's exciting to see them when they first push up from the ground.
What a lovely surprise that awaits you! Every year I think I should plant some bulbs but I never seem to get around to it. Enjoy yours...it won't be long now!
*smiles*
How exciting! We've had snow drops up for a few weeks but it will probably be another month before we see see anything else.
What a hopeful sign! Our snowdrops are up, but that's about it for now.
My tulips haven't popped up yet and that's good, because we're probably due for one more good snow.
How exciting..the colorful blooms should be coming soon!
Tulips are lovely. Sadly in Australia we're heading into autumn after possibly the coldest summer I remember. So I'm watching the trees change colour.
Yup mine are up too, I actually have a bud on one of the hyacinths, I keep thinking it's still too cold, go back, go back.
Aww, those tiny buds have so much potential! They remind me of The Secret Garden, when Mary was looking at all the little shoots and hoping the garden would come back to life.
Love these signs of spring. 60-70 all week next week here as well.
The snow is beginning to melt and we have lots of mud - that's an 'sign of spring' here.
The trees won't begin to bud out until the first of May, earliest, and tulips will follow. We WILL have daffodils in late April, though. :-)
I can't wait to see them bloom and I say YES to the warm temps! Won't it be nice to open a window and air out the house?
Nice photos! Lucky you! We still have lots of snow on the ground, but that should change this week. Happy Spring!
Nice, you've got buds already. My Daylilies have been up for a week or so. I've given up trying to mulch them back down. And now tulips and daffodils are up too. Let spring begin!
Spring is finally on the way here, too. I'm starting to see cracks in the ice on the lake!
The spring flowers are sprouting here too. My crazy daffodils started sprouting in January! I covered them up with leaves. I hope they will still bloom. I love the tulips and daffodils! They just scream spring!
My daffodils have already bloomed and are brightening up the place. It will be fun to see what colors your tulips turn out to be.
Little green buds always give me faith! Nice.
I love tulips! We are expected good weather thus week too so I'm hoping a few things start to come to life in our yard. Bring on spring!
Oh! Tulips! I wish we could have them here at our little spot, but the deer love them and eat the tops off like candy ... so I can only have daffodils. And the daffodils have popped up! Spring must be on its way!
Cool! We planted our tulip bulbs very late, so I'm curious if they'll actually sprout.
