What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

Thanksgiving did not get off to a very good start....my back went out at 11am! It did, however, force some really great reading time as I had to lay down for four days. I spent the time switching between reading and watching Alias on DVD.  I feel almost back to normal today.

Books Read:
The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner
Hot Zone by Catherine Mann
Wild Thing by Robin Kaye

Watched Season One of Alias
Reading The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons

Up Next:
Pieces of Light by Julie Cave

Book Thoughts:
The Informationist
Audios:
The Alchemist
The American Heiress
The King's Speech
Prophecy
Darkness, My Old Friend
Chaos In Death

Sorry about the back, I hope it is much better now. With that being said, it is always nice to catch up on some reading and TV viewing. Take care of your back, maybe that means more reading. ; )

Oh, the back tends to go out at the worst times! Glad you could read, though.

I enjoyed Darkness, My Old Friend. I'll be checking your review.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Sorry about your back, but there was a silver lining to that cloud, wasn't there. I read the Alchemist a few years ago, and loved it. I felt it was one of my all time favorite feel good books.

Ouch! Look after your back.
I feel for you.

My adult reading really took off after putting a disc out in my back and being bedridden for 2 wks.

Have a better week

I am so glad you are o.k. I had that happen a real long time ago, I was lifting one of the kids out of their high chair and my back just froze. Looked like an old woman for a few days, all hunched over, but it never happened again.

Hope this week is better!!

Throwing your back out is the most horrendous pain ever!! I'm hoping that you're almost back to normal, Nise!!! Great reading and I'm always eager to read your thoughts on them!
