My reading has slowed way down the last few weeks and I am not sure why. Saturday was the read-a-thon. I was baking tons of cookies and then entertaining guests and could only participate early in the day and a little bit later in the evening.

Flash and Bones by Kathy Reichs (great crime not a fan of the NASCAR backstory)
The Bird Sisters by Rebecca Rasmussen (just so-so for me)
Chaos in Death by JD Robb - audiobook from an anthology
Just started reading The Cut by George Pelecanos

I wouldn't like a NASCAR backstory either. I can't rememebr which book I read that had something similar that I had to put down...it was by Evanovich or something...amazing cover, not so amazing content lol!

I'll have to check out Flash and Bones. I like Reichs books. We must be on the same wavelength. I'm listening to audiobook of Glory in Death. Started listening to series in car. Enjoying it just as much as when read it.

I liked The Bird Sisters but it was an odd story so I understand some not liking it too well. I have The Tea Rose series in my pile and need to read it soon. The books are pretty good sized so I keep putting them back down the pile. Have a great reading week!
I started reading the Kathy Reichs' series - so far I've read book one and I really enjoyed it. I have quite of few others in the series - just need to find time to read them.
