It has been a relaxing, enjoyable holiday weekend. It is hard to believe that our summer break is over and it is back to a regular schedule. Time does fly. Yesterday we celebrated my brother's 50th birthday and I am sure it was just yesterday we were talking about how we would be as grown-ups.

The Gap Year by Sarah Bird (funny, emotional)
A Lancaster Country Christmas by Suzanne Woods (heartwarming)

The Sandalwood Tree by Elle Newmark (sweeping family drama)

Prophecy by SJ Parris

Started Listening to:
ShadowFever by Karen Marie Moning
The American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin
Devious by Lisa Jackson

I plan to start Escape later this week. I'm looking forward to it. I love the cover! I have The Gap Year on my wish list at the library. You had a great reading week. Hopefully this week will be just as good!
I liked Escape as well, there are days I would just like to run away but I have no where nice to go, lol
Have a great week!!
Happy 50th to your brother! It is very strange getting older - especially this past year or two when my sister turned forty and my dad turned sixty.
Wow you had a fantastic week. I enjoyed the Moning's series. Enjoy your books and your week.

What a great week you had!
You have a few this week I haven't heard of, enjoy.
As always you have a great list of books. Escape really looks like a good read. Happy B-Day to your brother!
Have a great week!
You always have a most interesting list. happy reading.
Time is certainly going way too fast for my liking!!! Great books...looking forward to your reviews!!
I have read The Flamenco Academy**** by Sarah Bird but The Gap doesn't sound like my kind of thing. I got The Soldier's Wife because part of it is set in Guernsey and it will be the third book I've read that is. I hope we both like it. I look forward to your thoughts on it. Happy reading this week.
Yes, summer seemed to have gone quickly. As do the years.
I like your selections and am interested in how you like The Betrayal. Have a lovely reading week.
Time is flying and sadly holidays always pass to quickly! I really want to make a start on the Fever series. Have a great week and happy reading :)
PS do you put your scrapbooking up on any website/blog? Wouldn't mind stickybeaking lol
