Two Books -Same Title

Now You See Her by Joy Fielding

"Devon is dead, Marcy."

"You're wrong. She's here."

When Marcy Taggart goes to Ireland after divorcing her husband of twenty-five years, a chance encounter catapults her entire life into turmoil. Years earlier, her daughter, Devon, disappeared in the icy waters of Georgian Bay after a canoeing accident, her body never recovered. But on a day trip to Cork, Marcy is certain she spots Devon walking down the street. When her daughter disappears into a crowd, Marcy begins a desperate search to find her — and to uncover the disturbing truth that might, in the end, be her only salvation.
It is always nice to read a book with a heroine that you can relate to on many levels.  I felt Marcie's loss, bewilderment and then her desperation.  As the mystery goes on, I began to wonder if Marcie was crazy, and became annoyed by her decisions, but was glued to the audio to find out what happened.  Justine Eyre did a great job reading.

Now You See Her by James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge

The perfect life
A successful lawyer and loving mother, Nina Bloom would do anything to protect the life she's built in New York—including lying to everyone, even her daughter, about her past. But when an innocent man is framed for murder, she knows that she can't let him pay for the real killer's crimes.

The perfect lie
Nina's secret life began 18 years ago. She had looks to die for, a handsome police-officer husband, and a carefree life in Key West. When she learned she was pregnant with their first child, her happiness was almost overwhelming. But Nina's world is shattered when she unearths a terrible secret that causes her to run for her life and change her identity.

The perfect way to die
Now, years later, Nina risks everything she's earned to return to Florida and confront the murderous evil she fled. In a story of wrenching suspense, James Patterson gives us his most head-spinning, action-filled story yet—a Hitchcock-like blend of unquenchable drama and pleasure.

I've really liked the books that Michael Ledwidge co-writes with James Patterson. This was no exception, page-turning, suspenseful, twists and turns, some you see coming, others you don't. Read it cover to cover in an afternoon. .

Funny about the titles. I like Justine Eyre as a narrator, so I can see why you kept listening even when you got annoyed at the character.

Lol, I liked how you reviewed two books with the same title at the same time

That is neat that you read two different books with the same title. We see quite a few posts about identical book covers but not too many about identical titles.

Both of them sound great. I haven't tried out this combo from Patterson, sounds good!

I try to avoid Patterson but when I do pick up his books they are quick, easy reads. Maybe that's what I need to finish up my challenges ;)
