Saturday Snapshot
I have been in a cleaning mode lately. A couple of weeks ago I gutted two bedrooms and then switched them as one son moved out and another wanted the bigger room. I did leave a few things up of our middle son's in the bedroom, but have confiscated it to get my vacation pictures in books. I've been wanting to get it done for years and I am bound and determined to get it done before my mom comes in three weeks and needs the bedroom. I have four years of trips to take care of Washington 07, Boston 08, Alaska 09 and Turning 50 in Washington '10. Good thing I am not going anywhere this fall, or I'd be really behind! The work in progress is the Boston trip.
Thursday I emptied my kitchen cupboards and washed them inside and out. I gave away three large boxes of items to Goodwill that I have not used in years. Totally forgot to get a picture! Next is the bathrooms!!!
To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.

Looks familiar :-)
Impressive amount of work going on. I still haven't finished the photo album I started for my daughter's graduation -- a year ago in June.
Wow, that's quite an endeavor! Looks like you're off to a good start, though.
It feels good to make progress!
Wow, that is a lot of cleaning and organizing! I've been meaning to clean my kitchen cupboards for a while now. :)
Now if the cleaning bug would just bite me! Are you going to put the picas in a photo album or are you scrapping too?
I've had some cleaning frenzies, too...usually after someone moves out.
What a great adventure, though; you get to create a new space. Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
I got tired just reading all that! I gave up on photo albums years ago... I still clean out closets and rearrange rooms though.
That's a huge sense of accomplishment I am sure. I need a "book cleaning frenzy" here...LOL
You've been a busy little lady.
If you still have the itch to clean, you can come to my house!
Sounds like you are doing Fall Cleaning. My neighbor has the same cleaning/reorganizing bug. She is even washing her curtains! I told her to calm down because she was making me look bad.
I'm sure we all have many similar jobs lurking around the house (I should be cleaning the bathroom right now actually, and am trying to get rid of all the old accumulated newspaper supplements that I just "have" to read, no mention of the photos I have unsorted from the 80s onwards...). Well done.
I totally have the purging bug right now! If my mom lived closer I'd drop off Gage for a day and tackle a room. It's harder when you have a new crawler underfoot :)
We recently moved and donated/threw away all the unnecessary items that we had accumulated. Felt so good!
Wow, you certainly are ambitious. Want to come to my house? LOL. Good luck getting your photos into albums. I've been meaning to get mine done for years. Happy Sunday Nise!
That's ambitious! But good luck with your projects, I hope they turn out well.
Ooh, sounds like you've been productive! Sometimes I get in the mood to get things done, and I love finding projects to do.
Must be the time for it, I'm still in the process of doing my scroffice and I also made a start on cleaning out clothes from my bedroom wardrobe. Got 2 big bags for goodwill stores :)
Good luck getting all your holiday snaps in order ... big job!
Good for you for getting organized. I need to catch the cleaning bug.
Nice to have a room to organize things. Can you send me some of your motivation? Please?
OMG! That is a lot of cleaning and sorting. Oh but it makes you feel so good doesn't it? Looking good Nise. Keep it up :)
Such satisfaction in cleaning out and organizing - yay for you!
