It is now up to them to ask the questions no one seems to want answered: Is Roy a killer? Who murdered Bergin? With help from some surprising allies, they continue to pursue the case. But the more they dig into Roy's past, the more they encounter obstacles, half-truths, dead-ends, false friends, and escalating threats from every direction. Their persistence puts them on a collision course with the highest levels of the government and the darkest corners of power. In a terrifying confrontation that will push Sean and Michelle to their limits, the duo may be permanently parted.
Even though this is book five in the King/Maxwell series it does stand alone well if you are one who can read books out of order. How they came to be a team and their other adventures are worth reading. This is a non-stop, action-packed read. As a mother of basketball players, I totally had the wrong idea of what this was going to be about. I liked the secondary character, Kelly Paul, and hope she will be back. The twist at the end is why I love Baladacci's novels.Author: David Baldacci

I don't think I've read Baldacci -- this one sounds good.
I've never read Baldacci, but I've wanted to and have one of his on my Nook.
I've never read any of Baldacci's books but he's certainly popular enough. Glad you enjoyed this one Nise. I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday!
I haven't read Balducci in years and I'm not sure why. Maybe he'd be a good choice for our next family road trip. He's husband friendly :)
Summer Rental is one I really want to read. I had to check out your audio too... you tend to inspire me :)
I haven't read Baladacci in a long long time. This sounds like a cool book especially with that twist in the end!!
This one sounds pretty good to me. I haven't read one his books in a few years --maybe this is the time.
Have a great week Nise.
