What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

I leave this week for the annual basketball tournament that I work at in Ft. Wayne.  I had to get some books read before I left, mission accomplished!
Books Read:
The Terror of Living by Urban Waite (dark thriller)
How to Bake a Perfect Life by Barbara O’Neal (could taste the yummy bread)
The Linen Queen by Patricia Falvey (historical delight)
A Song for my Mother by Kat Martin (heartwarming)
The Weight of Heaven by Thrity Umrigar (beautiful but also depressing)
Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts (bring this one on vacation)
The Midwife’s Confession by Diane Chamberlain (relationship heaven)
Silent Mercy by Linda Fairstein  (audio)

Up Next:
Breaking Silence by Linda Castillo

Book Thoughts Posted:
Mothers and Daughters
The Complaints
Though Waters Roar
Smokin' Seventeen
Quicksilver
The Butterfly's Daughter
The Goodbye Quilt

I'm wanting to read Chasing Fire. I've missed the last two of hers...I have the wedding quartet sitting on my rolltop desk.

Evanovich 16 in on my TBR pile, I have been a little disappointed in the last few books but like you not quite ready to give up. They just seem forced and she wants such big money for the contracts. Still waiting for the movie too.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!
