Julietta is drawn to the swarthy, mysterious Angelo.
Annamaria has a star-crossed encounter with the grocer's son, a man from the entirely wrong family. And through no intent of her own,
Luciana catches the eye of Billy Quinn, the son of Madame Forza's most important client.
Their destinies intertwined, each harboring a secret from their families and each other, will they be found worthy of the love they seek?
Every Siri Mitchell book that I've read I have thoroughly enjoyed. It did not take long to get lost in the story of 3 young girls from immigrant families with hopes and dreams for their lives while dealing with the expectations of their families. The girls work together and their lives intersect with a couple of twists but eventually get their happy ending.Author: Siri Mitchell

I like immigrant stories. If it's not heavy in the CF side of things, I bet I'd like this.
This sounds like a nice read for the summer. I love these historical christian reads. They are usually nice, quick reads. I will have to pick this one up. Great review!
Love the cover. Looks like a sweet read.
Hi Nise,
Great book review.
My name is Shanae and I just took over the 400 Fitness Challenge for Ellie. I am excited to get to know you. I am looking forward to having you check in with your miles. Don't worry ... you have until next Friday to check in for this week.
I am changing things just a little. It is always easier to stay motivated if you know you have a supportive group behind you. I would like to turn this Fitness Challenge into a supportive group to help people stay motivated, so I am going to do what G-man does for writers on his Flash 55 blog posts. I will post my miles and a fitness question on Saturdays. Please write a post answering the fitness challenge question or let us know how your week went and then leave me a comment so I know you are ready for a visit. I will visit everyone who leaves me a comment. You can also visit as many other participants as you can.
Click here to let me hear from you.
Cheers,
Shanae
