Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.
Baked up a storm this weekend for a couple of reasons... tis' the season to bake, and also to help get some warmth upstairs as our heat is out up there. Just what we need at this time, to replace a heat pump, but what can you do? Glad this weekend has not been too cold as it has helped it not be so cold in our bedroom.
Got some reading done this week.
Three Black Swans by Caroline Cooney
The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
The Girl Next Door by Selene Castrovilla
I’d Know You Anywhere by Laura Lippman (audio)

I had fun reading wishlist and TBR books.
I loved Wicked Lovely. Melissa Marr is one of my favorite authors!
Wow you did a lot this week, reading and baking. I was lucky I actually got one book read. Hope this week is also productive and that you have a very Merry Christmas.
Love your honest reviews "Just Didn't Love 'Em. I can't listen to books, just doesn't work for me and your questioning listening vs. actually reading is a great question. I did try to listen to a book several years ago when I was in the hospital after my accident and found I was just too easily distracted.

Here's my Monday:

I jumped in with both feet as it were, last Dec. and I sort of felt overwhelmed, so I'm limiting myself this 2011. After all I have a whole list of Nise recommendations to read.
You were kidding about getting some reading done!!
