I have never read this book or watched the mini-series and figured this is the perfect opportunity.

Oh I'm so excited for you! North and South is one of my all-time favorite books, and the mini-series is incredible as well. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Oh man! I wish I knew about this earlier. I have this sitting on my nightstand. Unfortunately prior commitments won't allow me to join. bummer :( Have fun and I look forward to your thoughts.
