YA-D2 – The YA Dsytopian Reading Challenge

Darren of Bart's Bookshelf is hosting this challenge that takes place from October 1st through to December 19th, 2010.

I have a couple of Dsytopian YAs that I want to read so I am going to sign up for Level 2.

Level 2: Is for those want a little bit more of a challenge, but still have some wriggle-room to participate as real life permits, requirement for this level is just two to four, young adult dystopian novels, between the 1st October and 19th December.

Dystopia (from the Greek δυσ- and τόπος, alternatively, cacotopia, kakotopia, cackotopia, or anti-utopia) is the vision of a society in which conditions of life are miserable and characterized by poverty, oppression, war, violence, disease, pollution, nuclear fallout and/or the abridgement of human rights, resulting in widespread unhappiness, suffering, and other kinds of pain. Books Read:
Battle Royale by Koushun Takami

I'll be paying attention to your reviews of these titles because my son really likes this type of book.

I really am liking dystopian books lately. I thought about signing up for this challenge but opted not too since I am already signed up RIP and Really Old Classics. I hope you enjoy your books. I have not heard of Sapphique, the title alone has caught my attention.
