What Are You Reading?

Sheila at Book Journey hosts this weekly event where we celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

This week has been such a slow reading week for me as I try to get over this jet lag that has me sleeping for hours!

I've only read one book this week (for me that is not normal):
The Miracle of Mercy Land by River Jordan

I am just about finished with Battle Royale by Houshun Takami.

Up Next:
The Black Madonna by Davis Bunn
The Search by Nora Roberts
The Help by Kathryn Stockett

Review Posts:
Thin Rich Pretty
Shattered
Without A Word
Skinned
Crashed

Be sure to enter my giveaway this week celebrating my reading challenge progress and 1000th post as well as the Old El Paso Family Taco Night giveaway

I'm a fan of Nora Roberts too so will watch for that review. Hope your slumping days are over. I went into a bit one not too long ago and now having spurts. And my request pile is staring at me.

My reading has slowed way down too, and I don't have jet lag to blame. I am blaming it on the time of year, but I also have to spend less time at this darn computer and more time with my beloved books.

I read Skinned and really did like it and would love to read the rest of the series. I might just get them on audio though.

Right now I am listening to The Knife of Never Letting Go read by the author and it is terrific.

Hope you have a great week.

I'm surprised I finished anything given how many academic journals I'm reading. Here's what I'm reading this week.

Oh good, I'm glad you're reading The Help. I haven't heard anyone say a bad thing about it, and I of course loved it. Enjoy :)
