Fall Into Reading

Fall Into Reading 2010 is a fun, low-pressure reading challenge hosted by Katrina of Callapidder Days and is open to anyone and everyone. It will take place September 22nd-December 20th.

Usually I have a huge stack of books that I am planning to read during this challenge.  This year I have a small stack pictured because all of my library books have been returned since I am leaving on a 3 week vacation Saturday to celebrate my 50th birthday in Seattle, WA.

I am participating in The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova read along listening to the audio book.  The plan is to listen while I am walking, yes, even on vacation!

Also on my stack:
Fiction:
I'd Know You Anywhere by Laura Lippman (audio)
Deliver Us From Evil by David Baldacci (audio)
Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah
Tender Vow by Sharlene MacLaren
Catching Moondroops by Jennifer Valent
Masquerade by Nancy Moser
On Folly Beach by Karen White
Immanuel's Veins by Ted Dekker
Veil of Night by Linda Howard

Non-Fiction:
Without A Word by Jill Kelly

Check out the details and other participants here.

Always love to see audio books on lists. They're so convenient for even the busiest of days!

These are all new authors to me, except Ted Dekker. Looks like a good list.

I love audiobooks! Just love them, and I love it when I see that others are "reading" them too. I didn't put any on my FIRC list, but I'm definitely using them.

I have Without a Word on my list, and actually just put it literally on my nightstand so that I could start it whenever the urge strikes me to read some nonfic.

Have a great birthday vacation! Three weeks is a long time. You'll be leaving the door open to someone getting ahead in my quiz series ;)

I completely forgot about Baldacci's new book. My husband usually enjoys them, so I'll have to look into getting that one. I might be reading Immanuel's Veins this fall, too. I had been offered a review copy, but it hasn't arrived yet, so we'll see...

Thanks for being part of FIR '10!

I see you have the new Ted Dekker book. That's my daughter's favorite author. I'm sure it's on her list too! Happy Birthday and happy reading.

I've heard good things about I'd Know You Anywhere, but I haven't read any of these. Good luck with the challenge and have fun in Seattle. I love it there.
